This is like a murderer giving a speech on how we need to decrease the amount of violent crimes...or something like that. I would love to think that he is earnest but am just a little too realistic to have faith in this.

and another thing...it's embarrassing and shameful that Bush continually refuses to sign onto the Kyoto protocol. And now he has the audacity to say that
“The United States is taking the lead, and that’s the message I’m going to take to the G-8.”
This is such a half-assed attempt at seeming to care about the environment.
